After a few days settling in, Eric was gradually allowed out of his room for short exploration sessions. After 1 week, with the door open and the litter box moved, he began to explore the living room—though he was still cautious and often retreated to his safe space.
At 1.5 months he became more vocal and attention-seeking and his owner thought he might be bored. So she introduced food puzzles and interactive games, played with him more frequently, and even installed wall shelves for climbing. She’s also started to get him used to a harness and says “I am so in love with him!” A neighbour joked it’s like Eric’s staying in a “seven star hotel!” He may be a work in progress, but we’re so glad he’s living the good life!
