When Nat decided to adopt Jewel we explained that she was very shy & it would take work & patience to bring her round. Fast forward & it’s taken a year or two for Jewel to really settle in. Nat says “I have a little tortoiseshell shadow that follows me everywhere around the house & purrs at the drop of a hat” But she is very excited about the latest development – “Last night she tried something new & sat on my lap!” It’s just one of those Eureka moments…

Nat’s advice to those who are looking to adopt “Consider a cat you might not usually consider. You have to put the work in but it’s absolutely worth it!”
