The birth of these two sisters was unexpected and unfortunately 3 cats was 2 too many for their owner who surrendered them to SAFE. When they arrived they were initially very shy and it took them a couple of weeks to settle into SAFE Haven, but now they are more relaxed and know us they have become very affectionate.
Food is definitely a way to get their attention and it will be possible to use it to help form a bond when you take them home. Because they are cautious and wary and of new things we think a home without young kids would be best for them. However if they live up to the tortie personality you may find you have two fabulous personalities around.
