Sunflower is a beautiful, soft-natured girl who came to us from the pound, where she was clearly overwhelmed and not coping well. Since arriving here, she’s shown us her true colors—quiet, affectionate, and incredibly sweet.
She settled in surprisingly quickly, likely because our environment is calm and dog-free—something she seems to really appreciate. Within just a few days, Sunflower began to relax and show her loving side.
She’s still a little cautious when you first approach, but the moment she realizes you’re there to give her gentle strokes, she melts. She leans into your hand, rubs her face against you, and rewards you with the most heartfelt, deep purrs.
Sunflower would thrive in a peaceful home without barking dogs—ideally with someone who understands shy cats and is happy to let her set the pace.
