Speckles is a beautiful and gentle 5-month-old black kitten who came into care with her brother, Freckles.
When Speckles and Freckles were found, they were just tiny 5–6-week-old kittens living on a car wrecking yard that was closing down. The people were leaving the property, and these little kittens, along with the other cats there, were going to be left behind to fend for themselves.
When they were rescued, they had known very little kindness or safety. But look at them now.
Speckles is definitely the shyer of the two siblings and will need a little time to adjust to a new environment. But once she knows you, she is a sweet, loving and social little soul who starts purring the moment she sees you. She adores attention, loves being around people, and gets along beautifully with other cats.
It’s hard to believe she is the same frightened little kitten the rescuer found just a few months ago. She simply needed someone to give her a chance.
Now Speckles is ready for the next chapter—a loving forever home where she will never have to fend for herself again.
Speckles would prefer a quiet home with children over 8. She takes a lot of comfort from being with her brother, Freckles, so if you are looking to welcome two kittens into your home, these two would make the perfect pair. 🖤🐾
