How many black cats can be called Sooty? Well, lots, but despite having the same name we find they are all unique!
Sooty is very, very shy and not at all sure where she belongs at the moment. In her foster home she formed a close bond with her carer and was becoming very affectionate. It has taken a while for her to adjust to the surroundings at SAFE Haven but we are pleased with the progress she has made. She is very interested in sniffing Tim’s hand and now allows him to touch the side of her face.
If you want to make a difference to one cat, Sooty is worth your consideration. By giving her the time to adjust to your home, and setting it up so she has places to hide, you will be allowing her to slowly overcome her fears and become the most loyal companion you could wish for. It will be worth the wait and you will have truly saved a life.
Meeting Sooty will give you no real indication of her personality as you will be a stranger to her, but if you are interested in chatting about adopting her & the statements below describe you & your home, please call us on 0404 753 227. We can give you lots of advice about settling her into your home.
- I do not have any children at home
- My home is quiet
- I have lots of time and patience to work with Sooty
