Rory is a gentle one-and-a-half-year-old boy who was rescued after one of our feeders noticed he was having trouble with his eyes. Once in our care, he received the treatment he needed and has come a long way since.
Initially very shy, Rory has spent the past year building trust with our volunteers and has become a much-loved favourite at the shelter. Once he feels safe and allows you to pat him, his true personality shines—he is incredibly affectionate and clearly enjoys human connection.
Rory is ready to find his forever home, where he can continue to grow in confidence. He would be best suited to a quiet, adult-only household where he can settle in at his own pace and be given the love and security he deserves.
He’s sweet, trusting, and full of charm—ready to give his heart to someone special. Due to his light colouring and past medical history, Rory will need to be kept safely indoors, where he can enjoy comfort, security, and all the love and pampering he deserves.

Cat accessories such as carriers, litter trays, litter scoops, food bowls, etc. are all available for purchase at SAFE Haven, with all proceeds going into saving animals and caring for them until they find loving homes.
