Prue and Trude came to us as tiny kittens, and over the past 18 months, they’ve grown into strikingly beautiful young cats. Though still shy, they have gentle natures and find great comfort in each other’s company.
Prue has delicate tabby stripes and a white bib, and Trude is a sleek, dark tortoiseshell with white markings. They may not be the first to approach strangers—but once food is involved, their curiosity helps to overcome their caution.
These sisters are not aggressive—just cautious—and they need a calm, understanding home where they can feel safe. An adult-only household or one with older teenagers who understand to treat them with quiet respect is essential. These girls need time, space, and patience—but the reward will be deep trust and a unique bond.
We’ve seen glimpses of their playful side when they think no one is watching, and we know there’s more to them than they’ve shown us so far. They may never be lap cats—but then again, with the right person, they might surprise us all.
If you set routines, encourage gently, and are willing to move at their pace it will help to bring out their hidden personalities. They may not be as flashy or outgoing as other cats —but give them a chance, and you’ll uncover something quietly extraordinary.
