Persephone is a beautiful 4-month-old kitten who came into care as a very sick little girl, weighing barely 500g. She has come a long way since then and is now a confident, inquisitive and energetic kitten who is ready to find her forever home.
Having grown up without other kittens around, Persephone is still learning the finer points of interacting with other cats and people. She can be picked up and held, but she much prefers bonding with you through an energetic game of wand-chasing or racing after a favourite toy. She is endlessly curious, loves to explore and has plenty of energy to burn!
Persephone would suit a home experienced with cat behaviour and with children over 12, as her bouncy personality can sometimes tip into overstimulation. She would love a feline playmate with a similar energy level who can keep up with her spirited games and help her learn the joys of being a cat.
Any introductions to other pets will need to be slow and carefully managed, as Persephone is a girl who is quick to express her opinions. With the right home, a little patience and plenty of playtime, this lively little girl has so much potential to blossom.
