Peanut (aka Princess) is a beautiful 6-year-old girl who was rescued from the streets and cared for by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan until she was able to come into our care. During her time in a home environment, she enjoyed human company and happily sought out affection from her rescuer.
When she first arrived at the shelter, Peanut showed that she enjoyed attention on her own terms. She would often approach people for affection and loved head, ear, and chin scratches. However, she was very clear about her boundaries and wasn’t shy about letting people know when she had had enough.
Over the last couple of months, Peanut has settled in beautifully and blossomed into a super affectionate girl. She now actively seeks out attention and enjoys spending time with the people she trusts.
Peanut would be best suited to a calm home with children aged 12 and over who can respect her boundaries and allow her to settle in at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, she is a loving companion with plenty of affection to give.

To meet Peanut, please come to our Rehoming Centre in Mona Vale any day between 10 am & 4pm
Cat accessories such as carriers, litter trays, litter scoops, food bowls, etc. are all available for purchase at SAFE Haven, with all proceeds going into saving animals and caring for them until they find loving homes.
