Myrtle is a gorgeous young tortoiseshell girl with medium hair. She is very shy. It has taken her quite a while to settle in at SAFE Haven, and it’s likely, but not certain, that going into a new home will similarly make her anxious at first.
Myrtle is a big fluff ball who does enjoy having people around but if you adopt her you will need to give her lots of time, and it might even take a couple of months for her to start relaxing. She is a gentle cat who is affectionate with her care giver but it may be a stretch for her to be a lap cat. We base our comments about Myrtle on observations during her time at SAFE but it may be that she will immediately feel more comfortable in a home environment and her behaviour will be less guarded.
