Here is Meatball, who is one of the most affectionate and friendly cats we’ve come across at SAFE. This delightful rescue has won hearts with his lively personality and his warm, engaging manner.
Although he might not have the fancy footwork of some felines, Meatball has the heart of a lion and the spirit of a determined underdog. He has a minor coordination issue due to a prior injury, but this doesn’t slow him down. In fact, our fine-furred friend loves to dart about and explore to his heart’s content. He’s always keen to step out of his comfort zone and sprints with joy, showing an eagerness for life’s adventures. It’s true, he may be just a bit wobbly when he first stands up or tries to clean his tail, but his landings are filled with charm and humour.
We have been closely monitoring Meatball for several weeks, and our vets have given him a clean bill of health apart from the coordination issue. His appetite is excellent; he sleeps well and he approaches every day with gusto day. Everybody loves Meatball’s playful spirit, and he’s quickly become a favourite amongst our volunteers.
Meatball is a cat who likes to be around people and is happy being snatched into your arms – though it must be said his head hangs down at a funny angle. This remarkable boy has a huge amount of love to give to a family who would welcome him into their home and their hearts. To say Meatball is special doesn’t quite do him justice – he’s in a league of his own, and eager to share his zest for life with his new family.
