Koi is a fluffy 5-month-old tabby tortie who came into care with her siblings 3 months ago. They were very sick kittens, rescued from a building site where they weren’t welcome.
Koi is a little on the shy side and is still learning to trust humans, which is completely understandable given her start in life. She will need some time to settle into her new home, so she would be best suited to a quiet household with children over 12, where she can adjust at her own pace.
While she may be timid at first, Koi can be handled and does accept gentle pats. With patience, love, and a calm environment, we believe she will truly flourish. She just needs that extra bit of care to help her confidence grow.
Having grown up with her three siblings, Koi would likely enjoy the company of another friendly cat in the home.
