Indy is a beautiful 8-month-old tortoiseshell girl who came into SAFE’s care with her friend, Marcy. She is the shyer of the two and took a few weeks to feel comfortable enough to venture out of hiding and meet new people.
Now that she has settled in, Indy has blossomed into a friendly and affectionate young cat who enjoys gentle pats and spending time with people she trusts. While she may be a little timid when she first arrives in a new home, with patience and understanding her sweet, loving personality quickly begins to shine.
Indy is looking for a calm, loving family who will give her the time she needs to settle in at her own pace. She would be best suited to a home with children over 8 years of age who understand and respect her boundaries. Once she feels safe, you’ll be rewarded with a gentle, affectionate companion who will quietly steal your heart.
