Goosey is a beautiful 2-year-old ginger tabby girl who came into care eight months ago, initially thought to be pregnant. It turned out she wasn’t—but what she truly needed was time, patience, and kindness.
When Goosey first arrived, she was very shy and unsure of people. With lots of gentle care and dedication from our volunteers, she has slowly learned that humans can be kind and trustworthy. Watching her grow in confidence has been incredibly rewarding.
Once Goosey knows you, she happily accepts pats and enjoys quiet companionship. She just needs the chance to build trust at her own pace.
Goosey would thrive in a calm, mature home with patient adopters who understand that shy cats need time to settle in. With continued love and understanding, we have no doubt she will blossom into a truly wonderful and loyal companion.

Cat accessories such as carriers, litter trays, litter scoops, food bowls, etc. are all available for purchase at SAFE Haven, with all proceeds going into saving animals and caring for them until they find loving homes.
