Aslan is adorable, playful, and affectionate ā Letās get that straight before we go any further. If you meet him, you will love him. His foster carer adores him, her friend who looks after him when sheās away, adores him, and every volunteer at SAFE adores him.
But despite all that love, we havenāt yet found that one person to take him home.
Like all of us, Aslan is perfectly imperfect – he has a slightly odd back leg but this allows him to do lots of yoga-like poses, clean himself with impressive flexibility and sit in a unique way which will make you smile.Ā He also needs to eat food which won’t trigger his allergies.
In exchange, if you adopt Aslan he’ll be your bestie,Ā devoted, gently affectionate and very entertaining.Ā He runs, jumps and does all the normal things other cats do and he loves chasing ping-pong balls down the stairs, batting feathers on a stick and soaking up sunny spots around the house. He is calm, affectionate, unique, clever, and full of character.
He is waiting for someone who understands that love sometimes comes with a little compromise.Ā You will look at him as an awesome ginger lion and know that loving him will be entirely worth it.
