Amelia won’t jump into your arms but she will sneak her way into your heart. We have certainly all grown to love her!
Amelia is an appealing young girl who has been at SAFE Haven for quite a while. Not many people notice her as she sits quietly in her hammock minding her own business and people watching.
Amelia likes to be around folks and we think that if you choose to take her home she will gradually start to enjoy hanging out. She doesn’t like the limelight so if you want an immediate stroke or cuddle she will back off and she needs to be in a quiet environment without young children. However she is calm and doesn’t demand attention and we really believe that in time she will be a beautiful companion and probably even a lap cat. All you have to do is love her and wait for her to truly relax in your home and in the meantime she will be a lovely calming presence.
