Akela and Rafiki are a pair of stunning young cats. They rely on each other for comfort, so they are looking for a home together.
Both of them have incredible medium haired coats and they are both very large for domestic cats. They are however, gentle giants. They were born in a back yard with their two litter mates and the person who lived there looked after the mum and fed them all. She was very upset to have to bring the kittens in for rehoming but just couldn’t afford their ongoing care after spending a lot of money on their vet work. Of course she has kept the mum and is happy to still have her around.
While they are not immediately affectionate with people, Rafiki, the boy, has been happily accepting pats more recently and is showing signs that once he was in a more comfortable environment he could be quite an affectionate cat. His sister is a little shyer, and at this stage isn’t keen on us touching her, but by all reports from the people who initially looked after them, she does likes pats as well.
