Bree was pregnant when she arrived at SAFE and gave birth to three healthy kittens, Osamu (tabby and white), Bongo and Kokora (both champagne). They found loving homes as soon as they were ready but Bree needed a little more time to adjust to life at SAFE. She is a shy, sensitive girl and has found the world a bit overwhelming. So learning to feel safe has been a slow journey.
One of our wonderful volunteers spent several weeks patiently helping Bree to gradually come out of her shell and discovered that Bree loves to play with a wand toy which shows she is prepared to open up.
With consistency and a patient person to walk alongside her, Bree will continue to build confidence. At just over two years old, she has so much life ahead of her and after spending 18 months in care, we’d love nothing more than to see her happy and settled in a home of her own where she can finally relax.
You can meet Bree at our Rehoming Centre in Mona Vale any day between 10 am & 4pm
