Cheeto is a handsome 1-year-old British Shorthair who came into care three months ago alongside several other cats. Initially, he was very frightened and overwhelmed by the shelter environment. We soon discovered that Cheeto was much happier with his own space, so he was separated from the other cats, and that’s when his true personality began to shine.
Since then, Cheeto has blossomed into a lovely young cat who enjoys being around people and is growing more affectionate every day. He now seeks out company, appreciates gentle attention, and is learning to trust and enjoy the comforts of home life.
Recently, Cheeto was diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur. While he continues to enjoy life, he will need an understanding adopter who can provide him with a calm and low-stress environment. For this reason, Cheeto would be best suited to a quiet adult-only home where he can be the only pet and enjoy a predictable routine.
Cheeto has already come such a long way in care and deserves a family who will cherish him for the sweet, gentle boy he is. In the right home, he will reward your patience with companionship, affection, and plenty of quiet moments together. ❤️
